Editorial Policy
Our standards for sourcing, labeling, and correcting information.
Our four labels
Every substantive claim on this site falls into one of four categories:
- Confirmed - stated directly by Marvel Studios, Disney, or the filmmakers.
- Reported - published by an established entertainment outlet, not yet studio-confirmed.
- Rumored - circulating without solid sourcing; treated with caution.
- Theory - our own reasoned speculation, always labeled as such.
Sourcing standards
We check official channels first - Marvel.com and Marvel/Disney announcements - then cross-check established entertainment reporting when official information isn't available. We keep a private research log of sources for every fact we publish. When reputable outlets are the source, we credit them by name in the text.
Outbound links
To keep readers on a clean, trustworthy page, we generally reserve outbound hyperlinks for primary sources of the highest standing (for example, Marvel's official site or an encyclopedic reference). Trade-press reporting is credited by name without a hyperlink. This is an editorial choice about clarity and credibility, not a claim that other outlets are unreliable.
Rumors and theories
Rumors and fan theories live on a dedicated Theories & Predictions page and are labeled wherever else they appear. We don't present speculation as fact, and we don't publish claims that trace only to AI-generated summaries or unverifiable leaks.
Updates and fact-checks
This is a living site. We revisit key pages whenever Marvel confirms new information, and we date our updates. If confirmed information changes, older statements are corrected rather than quietly removed - see our Corrections Policy.
